Friday Night’s Damage to our Front Wall

As near as police can assess the situation, it seems that on Friday night or early Saturday morning (7/12/19) a driver traveling down Russell St. in front of West Summers' former office left the road and went up on the sidewalk. He took out the street sign at the corner of Elliot and Russell, continued speeding down the sidewalk in front of the old Dukes-Harley building, and then smashed into our front brick wall. He completely wiped out our wall and the iron fencing from the corner all the way to the front entrance of the building. The car finally got hung up on the remainder of the wall and couldn’t go any farther and the driver fled the scene.
