Because of pandemic and the inability of all to worship publicly, we also offer our worship using Facebook Live.
You Do NOT have to have a Facebook account to see the live broadcast if you use a web browser instead of the Facebook app.
Click or tap on this link and you’ll be connected to our Church’s Official Facebook page.
If you prefer to cut and paste into your web browser, the address is: https://www.facebook.com/Church-of-the-Redeemer-610833972377963/
TIP: Through trial and error, we have discovered that the live feed doesn't always show up on phones. Best Idea - use a computer and a web browser instead of a phone or tablet whenever possible. (See more tips below)
To make sure you are on the correct Facebook page for Orangeburg’s Church of the Redeemer, look for a stain-glass window in the left-hand corner of the page.
There is a “fake” Redeemer page on Facebook, as well as the correct one. Since we didn’t create the fake page, we can not take it down.
The Facebook page should look like this:
When on the real Redeemer Facebook Page, scroll down until you see the video with words “LIVE” in red, or click on the VIDEOS section on the left of the page.
Look for the video that has “Live” on it.
Tap or click on the picture to start the live feed.
Turn your volume all the way up to full when using a phone or tablet.
Tips:
If you use a phone to view our worship you’ll need a Facebook account. You do NOT need an account to view the service on a computer or a tablet.
On your computer use a web browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc) instead of the Facebook app. Only use the Facebook app if you already have a Facebook account.
The word “Live” in red means that there is currently a live stream (a live worship service) in progress. Click or tap on the picture of the video and the live stream will start.
If you do not see the word “LIVE” a few minutes before the appointed time for the service, refresh your browser, or close the page and start it again. If you don’t see the word “live” you won’t see the worship.
